Rib lake report

Rib Lake

Fish coming from far end of the lake, and fish seem to be favouring bottom baits.

Favourite baits on Rib this week are currently:- Mainline cell boilies, solid bags with mixed pellet and crushed boilies

Carp weights ranging anywhere from 20lb-37lbs caught this week.

More pike coming out at 18lbs

PLEASE REMEMBER – NO SPINNING ON MILLENNIUM LAKE!

Fly fishing tickets are £28 includes 1 fish killed.

Additional fish killed are £12 per fish.

Preferred flys are :- Black buzzer, wiggly worms, blob and cormorant

Many anglers boasting catches of 6 or more trout. With 1 angler getting a new personal best of 30 fish caught in total (29 released!)

Kingfisher Pond

Kingfisher Pond

A beginner pond with a range of small fish including Roach, Rudd, Perch, Gudgeon and even the odd Carp!

With the increased usage of the pond, we are getting reports of anglers catching frequently and often landing multiple species.

Fish ranging from 1lb to 5.5lbs

Favourite baits mixed maggots, sweetcorn.

Westmill lake report

Westmill Lake

Still proving our most popular lake for families.

Match season has now begun, so please be mindful of any signage reserving swims for matches

All areas fishing extremely well.

Favourite baits on Westmill this week have been balled groundbait, red maggots and sweetcorn

Westmill lake is still fishing well. Bream weighing in at 4-9lbs, carp up to 12lbs – 17lbs and Pike 11-15lbs

Booking

All fishing tickets can be purchased online in advance. Tickets will be emailed to you and checked bank side by our bailiff. If the gate is closed and you require a code, please visit the tackle shop and show them your booking email.

Tickets are still available in the tackle shop subject to availability.

Please note you cannot reserve fishing tickets without paying in full.

Under no circumstances do we reserve swims or specific pegs. It is on a first come first served basis. A night fishing ticket is strictly for 24 hours. If at the end of your 24 hours you want to continue fishing you will have to purchase a new ticket. You MUST arrive before 5pm otherwise you will NOT be allowed to fish and forfeit any money paid. 

Make sure you book the right lake!!

It is very unlikely we will be able to change your booking after you have booked it!!

Rib Lake = 12 Acres with a good stock of Carp – Max 16 night fishing spots per night

Westmill Lake = 2.75 Acres general coarse lake – Max 10 night fishing spots per night

Millennium Lake = 5 Acres fly fishing lake. 

Kingfisher pond = 0.5 acre pond aimed at youngsters and novices but open to all. 

For day tickets please select 1 where it says no. of nights in the booking process

All areas of the lake fishing well. Especially the islands.
