River Rib

The River consists of a 1km stretch of the river Rib. It is a gravel bottomed river and is made up of a mixture of fast flowing, shallow gravel sections and some deep pools. The River is a completely natural eco system with a full blend of native species. The River is famed for an excellent Mayfly hatch in the late spring which offers the chance of a brown trout on the fly!. Species present in the river are: Barbel, chubb, roach, perch, bream, pike and Brown and rainbow trout.
