To organise fishing days at various locations, both competitive and non competitive

Above all, to create a friendly environment in which all members can enjoy the company of other anglers and the sport of fly-fishing.

Club rules

N.B. members are required to attend at least two meetings a year, one of which may be the A.G.M. Failure to do so will result in the loss of membership and its associated privileges* for Rib Valley lakes.

Members must be in possession of a current E.A. Licence and are required to familiarise themselves with Rib Valley fishery rules and when competing the relevant Club Competition Rules. Members must abide by those rules; failure to do so may result in expulsion from the Club.

When fishing at Rib Lakes all members must sign in at the lodge as usual but in addition must enter their Club membership number in the appropriate column in the sign in book. Please carry your Club card with you as the bailiffs may require to view this as proof of current membership. Catch return cards, including nil returns, must be completed and left in the returns box at the completion of fishing.

Privileges for Club members at Rib Valley Lakes are as follows: £2 reduction on sporting tickets, boats free of charge providing boats not being used by paying day ticket holders and free catch and release after limit on all fish killed (blue) tickets but only within the time limit specified on the ticket there is a maximum of eight fish total on all tickets.
This privilege does not apply to the single fish kill ticket.

All Club members, upon providing their Club membership card, may be entitled to a discount on tackle purchased from the tackle shop at Rib Valley Lakes.

If you would like to join the Club visit the Tackle shop for entry forms.
